Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Solix, Inc. (“Solix”) regarding its recent data breach. The Solix data breach may have involved sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information belonging to over 6,400 individuals.

Solix is a business consulting and services company based in New Jersey. Founded in 2004, Solix provides expertise in complex program management, eligibility determination, customer care, and state and federal funding recovery.2,3 Headquartered in West Parsippany, New Jersey, Solix has two additional locations in Utica, New York, and Killeen, Texas, and employs over 500 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Solix announced that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on March 24, 2025, Solix became aware of suspicious activity in certain employee email accounts.1 As a result, Solix launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Solix confirmed that an unauthorized actor gained access to the email accounts of several Solix employees from March 24 to March 27, 2025. As a result, Solix began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. The review conducted by Solix was completed on June 17, 2025. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Address
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license and/or government-issued identification
- Bank/financial information
- Username and password
- Health insurance information
- Health records
- Health insurance information
As a result of the data breach, Solix posted a notice of the incident on its website and began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to Maine residents, Solix is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
