WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, PDRI reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, PDRI recently identified unusual activity on some of its systems.1 Beyond that, PDRI does not elaborate on the nature of the security incident that impacted its systems. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Financial account information
- Medical information
On April 7, 2025, PDRI began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to Massachusetts residents, PDRI is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
