Today, Keswick employs a range of nursing staff, social workers, and therapists to provide enriching services for elderly adults. Accordingly, services provided by Keswick include long term care, rehabilitation, educational classes, medical services, recreational opportunities, and more. Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, Keswick employs over 200 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On May 9, 2022, Keswick discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. During its investigation, Keswick determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information through a compromised email account. On September 30, 2022, Keswick began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Medical Assistance number
