OneTouchPoint Data Breach Class Action

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, recently filed a class action lawsuit against OneTouchPoint, Inc. regarding its recent data breach. OneTouchPoint is a third-party printing vendor which provides services for various healthcare companies. OneTouchPoint is an advertising services company that specializes in providing printing and mailing solutions to health insurance carriers and healthcare providers. Today, OneTouchPoint also conducts business in marketing, communications, and information technology. Headquartered in Hartland, Wisconsin, OneTouchPoint has offices in four other states and employs over 500 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On April 28, 2022, OneTouchPoint discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, OneTouchPoint determined that an unauthorized actor may have gained access to this sensitive information between April 27 and April 28, 2022. On June 3, 2022, OneTouchPoint began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Member ID number
  • Medical information (e.g., information provided during a medical assessment)
