Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Find Great People, LLC (“FGP”), regarding its recent data breach. The FGP data breach may have involved sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information belonging to over 12,000 individuals.

FGP is a recruiting and human resources consulting firm based in South Carolina. Founded in 1982, FGP provides a variety of services to businesses, including traditional staffing services such as temp, contract, and temp-to-hire services, multiple search models, and HR consulting services. Working across 47 states, FGP places over 1,300 individuals a year and serves 26 industry sectors.2 Headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, FGP has three additional locations across South Carolina and Tennessee, and employs over 50 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, FGP reported to the Attorney General of Maine that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. According to the breach notice, on July 19, 2024, FGP experienced a network disruption that impacted the functionality and access of certain systems.1 As a result, FGP launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, FGP learned that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been viewed and obtained by an unauthorized individual between July 2 and July 19, 2024. As a result, FGP began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On September 16, 2024, FGP concluded this review. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Address
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
- Passport number
- Financial account number
- Medical information
- Health insurance policy number
On October 1, 2024, FGP began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to Maine residents, FGP is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific type of sensitive information impacted and 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
