This material is made of natural ingredients from the tropical rubber tree, and is meticulously crafted through a multi-step, eco-friendly process in Talalay’s creation facility in Shelton, Connecticut.2 Today, Talalay is the comfort component in many of the world’s finest beds and mattresses – helping people attain a wonderful night’s sleep as the top comfort layer(s), or as the entire mattress.2 In addition to producing comfort components in mattresses, Talalay also manufacturers pillows, mattress toppers, and pet beds. Headquartered in Shelton, Connecticut, Talalay employs over 200 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Talalay discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. On June 18, 2024, Talalay began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license or state identification number
- Alien registration number
- Passport number
- Financial account number
- Health insurance information
