Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Millcreek Pediatrics (“Millcreek”) regarding its recent data breach. The Millcreek data breach involved sensitive personal information and protected health information belonging to over 14,000 individuals.
ABOUT MILLCREEK PEDIATRICS:
Millcreek is a pediatrics hospital and healthcare company based in Delaware. Founded in 1999, Millcreek offers a range of healthcare services for children and their families, including vaccines, medication refills, pediatric appointments, and more.2,3,4 Headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, Millcreek employs over 10 individuals.3
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Millcreek announced that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice shared on its website, on or about February 25, 2025, Millcreek experienced unauthorized access to its network.1 As a result, Millcreek launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Millcreek confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed or acquired by an unauthorized third party between February 17 and February 25, 2025. As a result, Millcreek began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number and/or state identification number
- Medical record number
- Patient identification number
- Diagnosis/conditions information
- Provider information
- Dates of service
- Healthcare claims information
- Clinical/treatment information
On November 21, 2025, Millcreek posted notice of the breach on its website and began mailing breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Additionally, Millcreek filed official notice of the data breach with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office for Civil Rights.5 Based on the website breach notice, Millcreek is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
