WHAT HAPPENED?
On November 7, 2025, Chase reported to the Attorney General of Texas that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party. As of November 10, 2025, details of the breach have not been made publicly available by Chase. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
