WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, MCCN announced that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice shared on its website, on or around June 6, 2025, MCCN identified suspicious activity associated with certain systems in its network.1 As a result, MCCN launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, MCCN confirmed that the sensitive personal information and protected health information in its network may have been accessed and/or acquired by an unauthorized third party during the breach.1 As a result, MCCN began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. As of October 15, 2025, the type of information impacted in the breach has not been made publicly available by MCCN.
As a result of the breach, MCCN posted notice of the data breach on its website. Based on the website breach notice, MCCN will be providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.1 A link to the website breach notice is below.
