WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, MyCardiologist reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on June 12, 2025, MyCardiologist became aware of suspicious activity within its email environment.1 As a result, MyCardiologist launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.

On or around September 9, 2025, MyCardiologist completed this review. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Mailing address

  • Date of birth
  • Medical diagnosis information

On October 7, 2025, MyCardiologist began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice being sent to New Hampshire residents, MyCardiologist is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.1 A link to the letters that MyCardiologist filed with the Attorney General of New Hampshire is below.
