WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, MGM Transformers reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. In the sample breach notice, MGM Transformers does not elaborate on the nature of the security incident that impacted its systems. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:4

- Financial account information

On September 17, 2025, MGM Transformers began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals.
