According to the breach notice, on or around August 5, 2025, Viessman Trucking detected suspicious activity within its network environment.1 As a result, Viessman Trucking launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.

Through its investigation, Viessman Trucking confirmed that the sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed and copied by an unauthorized third party during the breach.1 As a result, Viessman Trucking began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On September 10, 2025, Viessman Trucking began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals.
