Founded in 2015, MAG sells and services automotive vehicles across its Aston Martin, McLaren, Jaguar, Land Rover, Kia, and Subaru locations.3 Headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida, MAG serves Palm Beaches, Tampa Bay, and Central Florida and employs over 200 individuals.3
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, MAG reported to the Attorney General of Maine that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, in May 2025, MAG detected an event involving unauthorized activity in its computer network.1 As a result, MAG launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, MAG confirmed that the sensitive personal information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired by an unauthorized third party during the breach.1 As a result, MAG began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
- Heath records
- Health insurance information
On September 10, 2025, MAG will begin mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice being sent to Maine residents, MAG is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services. 1 A link to breach notification letters that MAG filed with the Attorney General of Maine is below.
