WHAT HAPPENED?
On August 8, 2025, Arbor Associates reported to the Attorney General of California that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised.1 According to the breach notice, on April 17, 2025, Arbor Associates became aware of unusual activity on its network.1 As a result, Arbor Associates launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Arbor Associates determined that certain files may have been accessed and acquired by an unauthorized third party between April 15 and April 17, 2025.1 As a result, Arbor Associates began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. According to the breach notice, the sensitive personal information potentially affected includes the following types of information:

- Date of birth
- Medical record numbers
- Health records
- Health insurance information
