Prestige Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Prestige Maintenance USA (“Prestige”), regarding its recent data breach. The Prestige data breach may have involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to over 65,400 individuals.

ABOUT PRESTIGE MAINTENANCE USA:

Prestige is a facilities services company based in Texas. Founded in 1976, Prestige specializes in customizing janitorial and facilities-maintenance programs for clients in many industries, including distribution, fitness, grocery, retail, and transportation.2 Headquartered in Plano, Texas, Prestige has an additional location in Bridgeview, Illinois, and employs over 1,000 individuals.2

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Prestige reported to the Attorney General of Maine that the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, Prestige identified suspicious activity within its cyber environment on January 17, 2025.1 As a result, Prestige began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted, as well as identify the specific individuals affected. This review concluded on July 14, 2025. The type of information potentially exposed has not yet been disclosed by Prestige.

On July 22, 2025, Prestige began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to Maine residents, Prestige is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
