A part of this largest full-service, private oncology and hematology practice in California, the cCare – Riverside location is in Riverside, California.2,3 cCARE is a part of Integrated Oncology Network (“ION”), which is a physician management, radiation oncology management and cancer center development company that partners with hospitals and physicians.4
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, cCARE Riverside discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. On July 17, 2025, cCARE Riverside filed official notice of the data breach with the Attorney General of California. 1 Though much information is still not known about cCARE Riverside breach, it is likely that the cCARE Riverside breach included the protected health information belonging to an unknown number of individuals. As a result of the data breach, cCARE Riverside may soon begin notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted.
