Century Support Services Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Next Level Finance Partners, LLC d/b/a Century Support Services regarding its recent data breach. The Century Support Services data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information belonging to over 160,000 individuals.

Century Support Services is a debt settlement service provider based in Pennsylvania. Founded in 2003, Century Support Services specializes in a variety of services, such as debt reduction, settlement services, debt settlement, financial services, debt relief, and debt resolution.3 Headquartered in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, Century Support Services employs over 200 individuals.2,3

WHAT HAPPENED?

On July 14, 2025, Century Support Services reported to the Attorney General of Maine that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on November 7, 2024, Century Support Services discovered that an unauthorized party had gained access to private computer systems.1 As a result, Century Support Services launched an investigation into the suspicious activity.

Through its investigation, Century Support Services confirmed that sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information belonging to clients in its systems may have been accessed by an unauthorized individual during the breach on or about May 30, 2025.1 As a result, Century Support Services began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license/State identification number
  • Financial account information
  • Date of birth
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information
  • Passport number
  • Digital signature

 

On June 27, 2025, Century Support Services began mailing data breach notification letters to the impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to Maine residents, Century Support Services is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
