WHAT HAPPENED?
On June 18, 2025, Verrex reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on May 5, 2025, Verrex became aware of suspicious activity in its network.1 As a result, Verrex launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Verrex confirmed that certain files on Verrex systems were accessed or acquired by an unauthorized third party between May 4 and May 6, 2025. In response, Verrex began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected.1 On May 21, 2025, Verrex identified that personal information related to certain individuals was present in the affected files.
While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
• Name
• Social Security number
On or about June 18, 2025, Verrex began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to New Hampshire residents, Verrex is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
