WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, multiple online news sources reported that Covenant Health and its partner organizations had experienced a cybersecurity incident. According to these sources, Covenant Health’s shared that it became aware of connectivity issues impacting the organization on May 26, 2025.1 Additionally, the organization said the issues were the result of a “cyber incident initiated from an outside group.”1 As of May 30, 2025, Covenant Health’s investigation into the incident is ongoing and besides small notices regarding system outages on some of its websites, Covenant Health has not posted any additional information. Additionally, Covenant Health has not publicly disclosed the nature of the cybersecurity incident that impacted its systems. A link to the sources reporting on the breach are attached below.
