Nuqleous is a software company based in Arkansas. Founded in 2013, Nuqleous develops retail analytics software and provides solutions for category management and planogram automation.2 Today, Nuqleous offerings include data integration, shelf planning, automation tools, and other retail technology services. Headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, Nuqleous employs over 100 individuals.3

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Nuqleous reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been accessed and acquired. According to the breach notice, a phishing email resulted in unauthorized third-party access to two Nuqleous employee email accounts. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number

 

As a result of the data breach, Nuqleous began providing notice to impacted individuals. Based on the notice sent to Massachusetts residents, Nuqleous is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.1 A link to the breach report filed by the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is below.
