Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Hire Velocity employs over 200 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On May 16, 2025, Hire Velocity reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party. As of May 20, 2025, details of the breach have not been made publicly available by Hire Velocity. While not much is known about the breach, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Financial account information

 

As a result of the data breach, Hire Velocity will soon begin providing notice to impacted individuals. A link to the breach report filed by the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is below.
