Headquartered in Ponte Verda Beach, Florida, iTP Partners has eighteen additional locations across multiple states.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, iTP Partners reported to the Attorney General of Maine that the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been accessed. According to the breach notice, iTP Parnters experienced a data security incident.1 As a result, iTP Partners launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, iTP Partners confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been compromised by an unauthorized third party through multiple employee email accounts between March 15 and March 22, 2024. As a result, iTP Partners began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Financial account number
On February 28, 2025, iTP Partners began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notices provided to the Maine residents, iTP Partners is providing affected individuals with a list of the information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
