Founded in 2006, HireQuality specializes in the disciplines of accounting, finance, office administration, and information technology.2 Today, HireQuality provides permanent, part-time, temporary, and consulting employment services on a local and national level.2 Additionally, HireQuality offers full-service human resources consulting to assist businesses, of all sizes, with different human resources functions.3 Headquartered in Polk City, Iowa, HireQuality employs over 50 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, HireQuality discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, HireQuality determined that an unauthorized third party accessed this sensitive information through a company email account on December 7, 2023. On June 19, 2024, HireQuality began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Financial account information
