WHAT HAPPENED?

On December 24, 2023, Manitou discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its system may have been accessed and/or acquired. Through its investigation, Manitou determined that an unauthorized third party accessed this sensitive information on December 8, 2023. On June 27, 2024, Manitou began notifying individuals whose information may have been exposed. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name;
  • Social Security number;
  • Driver’s license number;
  • Date of birth;
  • Address;
  • Medical information;
  • Health insurance information; and
  • Financial information.
