WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, WDA discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its ongoing investigation, WDA determined that an unauthorized actor gained access to this sensitive information between February 1 and February 9, 2023. On May 24, 2024, WDA began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number
  • Passport number
  • Financial account information
  • Medical information 
  • Health insurance information
