TRC Talent Solutions Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating TRC Staffing Services, Inc., which does business as TRC Talent Solutions (“TRC”) regarding its recent data breach. The TRC data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to over 158,500 individuals.

TRC is a full-service talent solutions provider and staffing firm based in Georgia. Founded in 1980, TRC provides its services to businesses in a wide range of industries, including automotive, business services, energy, financial services, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, retail, supply chain, and technology. The services offered by TRC include strategic staffing, professional search, its managed-vendor program, on-site workforce solutions, recruitment process outsourcing, and project-based consulting. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, TRC has 16 additional locations across the United States and employs over 50 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On or around April 12, 2024, TRC discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, TRC determined that an unauthorized actor gained access to this sensitive information between March 25, 2024, and April 12, 2024. On May 24, 2024, TRC began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
