Today, DGA offers a wide range of dental products and services, including dentures and bridges, dental crowns, teeth whitening, fillings, porcelain veneers, orthodontics, dental implants, root canals, tooth extractions, dental bonding, teeth cleaning, and dental sealants. Headquartered in Amarillo, Texas, DGA has five additional locations in Amarillo, Dumas, and Canyon, Texas.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, it was reported by multiple online sources that DGA had experienced a data breach impacting the privacy of its customers’ personal information. According to these sources, DGA released a statement on the incident on October 26, 2023, saying, “The forensic investigation recently concluded and determined that the unauthorized third party accessed certain files on DGA’s network between October 3 and October 19, 2023. DGA reviewed the files for any personal information that could have been accessed and on January 9, 2024, learned that some patient information was contained in those files.”1 As of May 13, 2024, DGA has not disclosed the specific nature of the cybersecurity incident or confirmed whether the incident resulted in a data breach.
