WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, DA&E discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, DA&E determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this information on or about February 28, 2024. On May 3, 2024, DA&E began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
