Through its collection of brands, Numotion provides those living with disabilities greater independence.3 Additionally, Numotion works with clinicians and health plans to serve people living with disabilities with prescription-based products including individually configured Complex Rehab Technology (CRT), catheters, and other assistive technologies.3 Headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, Numotion has more than 150 locations nationwide and employs over 1,000 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 2, 2024, Numotion discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Numotion determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between February 29, 2024, and March 2, 2024. On April 15, 2024, Numotion began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Employment information
