WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Sunway Hospitality discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Sunway Hospitality determined that an unauthorized party may have accessed this sensitive information through its email environment in September 2023. On March 1, 2024, Sunway Hospitality began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Social Security number
