EdisonLearning Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating EdisonLearning, Inc. regarding a recent data breach. The EdisonLearning data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to over 23,000 individuals.

Additionally, EdisonLearning offers a proprietary learning management system, eSchoolwareTM, as well as instructional and student support services through its eSource® implementation training.5 Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, EdisonLearning has an additional location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and employs over 1,000 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

In March 2023, EdisonLearning discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, EdisonLearning determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between March 7 and March 17, 2023. On February 21, 2024, EdisonLearning began mailing written notice of this incident to individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
