To date, Trussbilt has manufactured over 600,000 steel doors and has worked on a variety of projects with a range of security needs. Headquartered in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, Trussbilt operates its main manufacturing facility in Huron, South Dakota and has completed projects across the United States and in 17 foreign countries.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Trussbilt concluded that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Trussbilt determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information in or about November 2022. On March 27, 2023, Trussbilt began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
- Financial information (e.g., banking account information, credit card number)
- Health information
