Advanced Health Media Data Breach Investigation

Founded in 1999, Advanced Health Media offers a variety of resources including financial solutions, pharmaceutical marketing, and compliance technology. In 2018, Advanced Health Media merged with IQVIA and expanded its areas of expertise to include advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services. Originally headquartered in New Providence, New Jersey, Advanced Health Media worked with more than 40,000 pharmaceutical reps and healthcare professionals throughout the company’s 19 years of service.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On or around December 16, 2022, Advanced Health Media discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Advanced Health Media determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and obtained this sensitive information beginning on November 27, 2022. On February 24, 2023, Advanced Health Media began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license number
- Address
