Headquartered in City of Industry, California, Jacmar Foodservice Distribution employs over 50 individuals. Shakey’s is a family pizza restaurant chain with locations in California and Washington. Founded in 1954, Shakey’s offers pizza, fried chicken, Mojo potatoes, salads, garlic bread, and alcoholic beverages. Shakey’s is headquartered in Alhambra, California.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Jacmar Companies discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Jacmar Companies determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and acquired this sensitive information on or around June 2, 2023. On December 13, 2023, Jacmar Companies began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Social Security number
