Founded in 1915, Jordano’s is a member of UniPro Foodservice, the largest foodservice distribution cooperative in the United States, helping it to support and distribute nearly 150 national food brands.2 Today, Jordano’s customer base covers more than 35 different market segments, including restaurants, schools, colleges and universities, healthcare, hotels, wineries, caterers, pizza chains, resorts, bars, golf courses, health clubs, and government agencies.3 Headquartered in Santa Barbara, California, Jordano’s has an additional location in Santa Barbara and employs over 500 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Jordano’s discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Jordano’s determined that an unauthorized party may have accessed this sensitive information on or about February 25, 2024. As a result, Jordano’s began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Bank account number for direct deposits
