WHAT HAPPENED?
On November 30, 2023, Standard Labs was informed that its external payroll and benefits provider, Paycor, Inc., had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Paycor determined that an unauthorized party may have accessed and acquired this sensitive information through a vulnerability in the MOVEit Transfer file sharing software, which Paycor uses, on May 31, 2023. On January 2, 2024, Standard Labs began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:
