WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 10, 2024, Panda Restaurant Group discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Panda Restaurant Group determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between March 7 and March 11, 2024. On April 30, 2024, Panda Restaurant Group began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The exact type of personal information potentially exposed has not been made publicly available by Panda Restaurant Group. However, according to state reporting guidelines, “personal information” can include the following types of information:

- Social Security number
- Driver’s license or state ID number
- Account number, credit or debit card number
- Account passwords or personal identification numbers or other access codes
