WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Senesh reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on February 5, 2026, Senesh detected a compromise of its network environment.1 In the sample breach notice provided to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Senesh does not elaborate further on the nature of the security incident that impacted its systems. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:5
- Name
- Social Security number
- Financial account information
As a result of the breach, Senesh began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to Massachusetts residents, Senesh is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
