WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Intuitive announced that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice shared on its website, Intuitive determined that information from certain internal IT business applications was accessed by an unauthorized third party as a result of a cybersecurity phishing incident.1 As a result, Intuitive launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its ongoing investigation, Intuitive has confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems related to Intuitive customers and employees may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party during the breach. As a result, Intuitive began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. As of March 16, 2026, the exact type of personal information potentially exposed has not been made publicly available by Intuitive.
