Rockrose Development Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Rockrose Development L.L.C., which does business as Rockrose Development Corp. (“Rockrose”), regarding its recent data breach. The Rockrose data breach involved sensitive personal information and protected health information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Rockrose announced that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice shared on its website, Rockrose determined that unauthorized individuals accessed its systems.1 As a result, Rockrose launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.

Through its ongoing investigation, Rockrose has confirmed that sensitive personal information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired by an unauthorized third party during the breach. As a result, Rockrose began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Taxpayer identification number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Passport number
  • Financial account information and routing numbers
  • Health insurance information
  • Medical information
  • Online account credentials for individuals who have affiliations with Rockrose, such as employees or residents of properties

 

On December 12, 2025, Rockrose posted notice of the breach on its website. Additionally, Rockrose began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on breach notice sent to California residents, Rockrose is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
