ImageWorks is a retail displays company based in North Carolina. Founded in 1996, ImageWorks provides a range of retail display and advertising solutions, including stock display shelves, custom retail displays, modular shelving units, and more.2,3 Brands that have used ImageWorks products and services include 7/11, Chevron, Craftsman, Dollar General, Duracell, KIND, DeWalt, etc.2 Headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, ImageWorks employs over 50 individuals.3
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, ImageWorks reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on or about August 21, 2025, ImageWorks experienced unauthorized access to its network.1 As a result, ImageWorks launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, ImageWorks confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed or acquired by an unauthorized third party during the breach. As a result, ImageWorks began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Address
On December 3, 2025, ImageWorks began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to New Hampshire residents, ImageWorks is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
