Today, Beverly Hills Cancer Center specializes in cancer care and offers various services such as radiation and medical oncology, IV drips, imaging, and clinical trials.2 Headquartered in Beverly Hills, California, Beverly Hills Cancer Center employs over 50 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Beverly Hills Cancer Center reported to the Attorney General of California that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, Beverly Hills Cancer Center recently discovered unauthorized access to our network.1 As a result, Beverly Hills Cancer Center launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Beverly Hills Cancer Center confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party between February 7, 2025, and February 11, 2025. As a result, Beverly Hills Cancer Center began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On October 13, 2025, Beverly Hills Cancer Center completed this review. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
 - Social Security number
 - Driver’s license number or other government identification numbers
 - Financial account information
 - Credit or debit card information
 - Health insurance policy information
 - Medical information (treatment, diagnosis, prescription and/or other clinical information)
 
As a result of the breach, Beverly Hills Cancer Center began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to California residents, Beverly Hills Cancer Center is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
