Digital WarRoom Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Gallivan, Gallivan and O’Melia, which does business as Digital WarRoom (“Digital WarRoom”) regarding its recent data breach. Founded in 2002, Digital WarRoom provides eDiscovery software that allows organizations to manage electronically stored information (ESI) in response to eDiscovery orders in litigation, investigations, or mergers and acquisitions.3 The eDiscovery platform created by Digital WarRoom offers law firms and corporate legal and eDiscovery teams with tools for ESI processing and document review and production.3 Headquartered in Bainbridge Island, Washington, Digital WarRoom employs over 10 individuals.3

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Digital WarRoom reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. In the breach report provided to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Digital WarRoom does not elaborate on the nature of the security incident that impacted its systems. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
