OYO is a hospitality and gaming company based in Nevada. Today, OYO offers a range of hospitality and gaming options for guests, including rooms and suites, restaurants, a casino floor, a pool, and an underground lounge.2,4,5 Headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, OYO employs over 200 individuals.3
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Paragon reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on or about January 11, 2025, Paragon was notified by the managed security service provider for OYO of unusual activity in hotel and casino’s shared network environment.1 As a result, OYO launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, OYO confirmed that the sensitive personal information in its system belonging to Paragon may have been accessed or acquired by an unauthorized third party between January 8 and January 11, 2025.1 As a result, Paragon began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On September 18, 2025, Paragon completed this review. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:5
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license number
On October 9, 2025, Paragon began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice being sent to Massachusetts residents, Paragon is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.1 A link to the letters that Paragon filed with the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is below.
