Rasevic is a landscaping/construction and infrastructure maintenance company based in Maryland. Founded in 1990, Rasevic manages companies which provide infrastructure maintenance and construction services for clients, including Rasevic Snow Services, Rasevic Landscape Company, Rasevic Dust Control Service, and Rasevic Construction Company.2,3 Customers served by Rasevic includes residential, commercial, industrial, federal, and government clients.2 Headquartered in Ijamsville, Maryland, Rasevic employs over 10 individuals and services clients in Washington D.C., Delaware, Virginia, and all of Maryland.3
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Rasevic reported to the Attorney General of Maine that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. Recently, Rasevic discovered that it had experienced a data security incident. As a result of the breach, Rasevic launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Rasevic confirmed that the sensitive personal information and protected health information in its care may have been accessed and/or acquired by an unauthorized third party between March 28 and April 2, 2025.1 As a result, Rasevic began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Tax identification number
- Driver’s license number or state ID number
- Passport information
- Financial information
- Health insurance information
- Medical information
- Biometric identifier
On October 2, 2025, Rasevic began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice being sent to Maine residents, Rasevic is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.1 A link to the letters that Rasevic filed with the Attorney General of Maine is below.
