Founded in 2011, Belkorp offers various equipment, solutions, and services for farmers and landscapers.2 Additionally, Belkorp specializes in golf and turf repair, ag equipment sales and service, golf and turf sales, and integrated solutions. Headquartered in Modesto, California, Belkorp employs over 200 individuals and has locations in over 5 counties.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Belkorp announced that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on or around April 26, 2025, Belkorp became aware of suspicious activity on its network.1 As a result, Belkorp launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Belkorp confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired by an unauthorized third party between April 18 and April 26, 2025. As a result, Belkorp began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On September 2, 2025, Belkorp completed this review. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Identification records (driver’s license number and passport number)
- Financial account information
- Biometric data
- Medical information (medical record number, medical diagnosis and treatment information, and date of treatment)
- Health insurance information (health insurance coverage information and payment for health services)
As a result of the breach, Belkorp posted notice of the data breach to its website. Additionally, on September 29, 2025, Belkorp began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the website breach notice, Belkorp is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
