WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, OBGYN reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on or about August 7, 2025, OBGYN detected a network security incident, in which an unauthorized third-party accessed its network environment.1 As a result, OBGYN launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, OBGYN confirmed that the sensitive personal information of employees may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party during the breach.1 As a result, OBGYN began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license number
- Bank account number and routing number
On September 10, 2025, OBGYN began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice being sent to New Hampshire residents, OBGYN is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services. 1 A link to breach notification letters that OBGYN filed with the Attorney General of New Hampshire is below.
