On August 16, 2025, Data I/O Corporation experienced a ransomware incident on certain of its internal IT systems.1 In response, Data I/O Corporation initiated containment measures, including proactively taking certain platforms offline, and launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident. On August 21, 2025, Data I/O Corporation reported the incident in a Form 8-K filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.1 According to the filing, this incident has temporarily impacted Data I/O Corporation’s operations, including internal/external communications, shipping, receiving, manufacturing production, and various other support functions.1 As of August 22, 2025, Data I/O Corporation’s investigation is ongoing, and further details have not been made publicly available by Data I/O Corporation.
