WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Southern Immediate Care discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. In April 2025, Southern Immediate Care identified unusual activity within an employee’s email account. 1 As a result, Southern Immediate Care launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.

Through its investigation, on April 15, 2025, Southern Immediate Care determined two mailboxes were accessed without authorization, and information from the mailboxes could have been downloaded.1 As a result of the data breach, Southern Immediate Care may soon begin notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted.
