WHAT HAPPENED?
On June 18, 2025, Regency Oaks posted a notice on its website of a cyber event. According to the breach notice posted on its website, Regency Oaks became aware of suspicious activity related to certain employee email accounts on or around September 16, 2024.1 As a result, Regency Oaks launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Regency Oaks confirmed that certain data was accessed by an unauthorized party between September 6 and September 11, 2024. 1 As a result, Regency Oaks began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. According to the breach notice, the sensitive personal information potentially affected includes the following types of information:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license number or state identification card number
- Date of birth
- Address
- Passport number
- Financial account number
- Biometric information
- Medical record number
- Medicare/Medicaid number
- Health insurance information
